After having moved to new premises in April, we started in May our new production line. With this fully modern tool, we are already producing a new generation of Dilucup which will shortly replace the current one. This new Dilucup, renamed  “Dilucup Elegance” will start being delivered in July or August. The Dilucup Elegance, is very similar to the one you are using today, but it brings also a number of improvements as for instance:

  • Rounded edges which are not going to perforate your waste bags anymore,
  • A white “lock film” on which every drop is immediately visible,
  • An easier opening going to allow an “elegant peeling” in a next future.

The Dilucup Elegance is coming in new redesigned boxes, with a new capacity. Every box includes 2 sealed bags with 336 cups each (672 cups/box in total). Remember that the open bag should, as earlier, be kept refrigerated. You will soon get additional information from your local Dilucup distributor.

On March 16, 2016, AddLife became an independent listed company. AddLife, founded in June 2015, was the corporatisation of the Life Science business area in the Addtech group. Through its heritage from Addtech, and before that Bergman & Beving, AddLife has a history that dates back more than 100 years. LabRobot Products, which was belonging to Addtech since July 2007, is now part of AddLife.

In 2014, we offered to our Dilucup customers the possibility to close the Dilucup aluminium bags with a plastic zipper, in order to get an optimal storage of the Dilucups in the fridge.
Everybody having tried to use it knows how difficult it is to close the bag perfectly, and only customers having a great patience are able to achieve it.
Starting with batch 1030, we have now introduced a new type of aluminium bag closing with a hook and loop fastener (“Velcro like”). With such improvement, to close the Dilucup bags will not be tedious any longer.

Monday October 12, 2015 was an historic day for LabRobot. Indeed, we produced our 1000th batch since we moved the production to Stenungsund in 2009. This is a milestone in the quick development of LabRobot and our Dilucup system. Moreover, we have just ordered a new production line to be started in new premises during the spring 2016.

We are happy to inform you that we have appointed a new distributor in Spain.

If you are in Spain and interested in our unique method for serial dilutions in food microbiology, please contact Bioser in Barcelona. Bioser has a wide presence in all Spanish regions and the Dilucup is completing very well its current range of modern methods for food quality control. Click here and find Bioser contact details in our Contact & Partners section.

Dilucup was initially distributed in Spain by Nirco s.l. but the new strategy of this company did not allow any further collaboration.

Today was a special day for us at LabRobot. Indeed, we draw the winner of a Samsung Tab 4 among all the Swedish customers who did register to our new website before May 1st.
And the lucky winner was: Jenny Spånglund from Brämhult Juice AB in Borås.
We all congratulate Jenny for her success and do expect that she will think of us and of the Dilucup when she will use this nice tablet.

Welcome to our new website. We aim to bring you the most relevant information and we expect that going through our new pages will be a great experience. Even if you were registered on our previous website, you need to register for a new account in order to get access to QC-certificates and additional information.

At LabRobot, we care for details that make life easier. Having noticed that it was sometimes easier to open Dilucups in one direction than in the opposite, we now print an arrow on the film in order to indicate the direction we recommend. This arrow appears on all lots with a number greater than or equal to 0784.

On May 6, 2014 the members of the board of Directors and the employees of LabRobot did celebrate the retirement of Antonio Cepeda Mangerão. Indeed, after many years spent in the company, taking care of the QC of Dilucup and the development of our products, it was time for Antonio to get the more quiet life that he deserved so much. On his “to do list” for the coming months: to get to know his new neighbours after he recently moved and to take care of his grand child…

At this occasion everybody enjoyed a very nice dinner at Stenungsbaden in Stenungsund.
On the picture behind you can see Antonio together with Miya Söderberg who has now taken over the QC management.
