This year, LabRobot Products AB celebrates its 40th anniversary!

Do you know where the name LabRobot comes from?

The company was founded in 1986, initially developing robotic laboratory systems, which is where the name comes from.
From 1991 onwards, the company shifted its focus from robotic systems to smaller laboratory instruments, such as peristaltic pumps, filling systems, and tube openers.

It was in the early 2000s that the founder, a Swedish man who is now 80 years old, came up with an idea: if a cup, instead of being completely open, had only a small opening at the top, the liquid would not spill out when shaken.

And that is how Dilucup® was born!

The company has changed significantly and now specializes exclusively in the production and development of the Dilucup® System, a system that facilitates serial dilutions for thousands of laboratories worldwide.
